English: This photograph was taken during my recent visit to Keoladeo National Park in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. The picture captures a Great Egret in the early morning in the wetlands of Keoladeo. This national park is also a World Heritage Site under criteria ix of the UNESCO Conventions. The sanctuary is home to over 350 species of native and migratory birds as well as many species of reptiles and mammals.
