if you are reading this, I invite you to consider expressing solidarity towards the Wiki Workers United union by signing your name at Wiki Workers United § Solidarity; especially following the disbanding of the WMF's Community Tech team (including laying-off five engineers and one manager, and requiring them to successfully re-apply for another job if they'd like to continue working at the WMF).

I might be less active in technical spaces at the moment than previously, primarily for lack of motivation -⁠- among other things, I'm finding it more difficult to motivate myself to contribute volunteer time/code to an organization that does these kinds of things.
I wrote a small amount here; others have written things as well.
