Yann, You have wrongfully deleted the many redirect pages in the Sanskrit wikipedia. The redirection was all correct, because certain devanagari characters in unicode are written more than one way.
What needed to be deleted was the first "delete" line in each of these REDIRECT pages, which the contributor had introduced in ignorance.
Is there any way all these pages can be restored?
- First could you sign so that I can know who to answer to ?
- I only deleted pages which were taggued as requests for deletion. But if you make a list of page to be restore, I can do it. Yann 17:34, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- I agree with the anonymous user... both in devanagari and kannada, sometimes characters in unicode are written more than one way. But I also agree with yannf that the anonymous user'd better be signed in ;) so that we would know whom we're talking to :P --Hpnadig 21:44, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)

- Dear Yann! We have started a new campaign to update the localization files. If you can help improuving the "{{int:Allmessages}}" – "व्यवस्था सन्देशा" files "LanguageSa.php" and "MessagesSa.php" to run the Sanskrit projects please log in at [१], change the interface to the language of your prefrence at [२], go to Betawiki:LanguageSa.php and MessagesSa.php at section "contact persons" and list your name. We can start with the new messages translated already and continue step by step.

The Sanskrit Wikisource[सम्पादयतु]
Hi! Honorable administrators of the Sanskrit Wikipedia! Sorry for writing in English, I don't know the Sanskrit language. The Sanskrit test-Wikisource is pretty big, so, it needs to be a normal Wikisource, not a part of the Old Wikisource. Please, help in creation of the independent Sanskrit Wikisource! The Request for opening the Sanskrit Wikisource is here, also it needs to translate these messages. New support group for all ancient language communities[सम्पादयतु]
