error reporting

hi, there is some error with welcome message....check my talk page you will see that edit section is not being shown for every section but need...compare it with your talk page it is showing edit option for every section....i did a little experiment and found that it is happening because of welcome message if welcome message is added then edit option is not being shown and if it is removed then edit option is appearing....i suggest you to please edit welcome message template since it is protected so only admins can edit it or else i would have experimented there...better you import the welcome message from hindi wikipedia and translate it in sanskrit...Sushilmishra (चर्चा) १३:५७, २३ मई २०१५ (UTC)

Namaskar!! I have been contributing on Hindi, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Maithali and Fiji Hindi wikipedia, specially in sports section. I wish to contribute on Sanskrit wikipedia too but my knowledge of language is basic which I learnt in my school. Sample of my work from punjabi wiki pa:ਮੈਨਚੈਸਟਰ ਯੂਨਾਈਟਡ ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਕਲੱਬ and pa:ਓਲਡ ਟਰੈਫ਼ਡ.

I can create basic stubb pages with proper info box and references attached, please provide me translation of following lines

i would have helped you but i know little or no sanskrit....second point is that coverage of sawiki on sports is very less, so i was thinking of expanding it....third point is that i would be slow about creation of new pages only 2 pages a day, 1 ll be about football club and other would be about their home ground....thing is like i would be providing references and infobox with basic info in it ll be helpful for future major expansions....let me provide couple of samples here then you can decide how much creative and innovative my work is....couple of sample pages ll not do much harm....give it a try....Sushilmishra (चर्चा) ०२:२१, १७ जून २०१५ (UTC)

नमस्ते सुशीलजी... क्षमा करें इस कार्य के लिए आप किसी और की सहायता ले । मेरे लिए अभी ये करना शक्य नहीं है । सं.विकिपीडिया में 10000 लेख हैं । उसमें से 4000 स्टब्स् हैं । जिस में मेरे अनुमान से और 2500 योजित होंगे । अर्थात् 6500 को 10000 में से नीकाले तो 3500 बचे । उन में से 2000 जितने वर्धनीयः विषयः वाले वर्ग में जाते हैं । अर्थात् वे होकर भी नहीं हैॆ । तो बचे 1500 उनमें से 500 या 700 लेख ऐसे हैं जो परिशीलनीयानि वाले वर्ग में जाते हैं । शुद्धतम लेख कितने हैं वो अब आप ही गणना कर सकते हैं । मैं उन लेखों की गणना बढाने में अपना समय देना चाहता हूँ । स्टब्स् 100000 होंगे तो भी आज की स्थिति में और तब की स्थिति में मेरे लिए कोई भेद नहीं है । 100000 भी मेरे लिए 0 है और 10000 भी मेरे लिए 0 ही है । जब तक कुछ बडे अच्छे लेख यहाँ नहीं आ जाते और 10000 लेख बडे लेख नहीं होते तब तक तो स्टब चाहे जीतने बने कोई फाइदा नहीं है । 2003 से कोई न कोई कारणों से सं.विकिपीडिया में स्टब्स् ही बन रहे हैं । जो लेख हैं वो पढने लागयक नहीं है । कुछ पढने लायक हैं तो उनको सही भागों में विभाजित नहीं किया गया है । ये तो अन्धेरी नगरी है, जिसके द्वार पर एक आकर्षक प्रकाश है । नगरी में तो घोर अन्धकार ही है । मैं कोई आक्षेप नहीं कर रहा । परन्तु मेरी इच्छा है कि अन्दर प्रकाश हो । बहार के 10000 से या 100000 से कोई भेद नहीं होगा । बोलने के लिए सही है, दिखाने के लिए सही है परन्तु सच में अगर कुछ करना है तो उक्त मैंने जो काम बोला अभी वहीं मुख्य कार्य है । अस्तु । ॐNehalDaveND^•✉•✎ ११:१०, १७ जून २०१५ (UTC)

@Dcljr: Thank you for guidance. I am trying to stable that number for sa.wiki since 1 year. Fore that I made a category called वर्गः:भाषानुबन्धः योजनीयः. In that I put every pages which don't have interwikilink and we finished that work too. But Now situation is some Sanskrit Pages have not similar page in other wiki so we couldn't liked with other. I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you're saying here. (I do not read Sanskrit at all, so I'm having a hard time understanding the purpose of the pages you have linked to.) When you say "interwikilink", I hope you mean a regular "wikilink" (like this: [[शाहरूख खान]] → शाहरूख खान — sometimes known as an "internal-style" wikilink — as described at m:Help:Link#Wikilinks) and not an "interwiki link" (like this: [[wikt:पौर्वार्ध]] → wikt:पौर्वार्ध, or this: [[en:Shah Rukh Khan]] → en:Shah Rukh Khan — those links lead to totally different wikis — as described at m:Help:Interwiki linking).

Pages in the "main namespace" count as articles when they have regular "wikilinks"; it doesn't matter if they have "interwiki links" or even "category links".

You say, "some Sanskrit Pages have not similar page in other wiki", but whether the page exists on another wiki doesn't matter for determining the article count. What matters is that text in one article can be linked to the page title of another article on the same wiki (as done, for example, in this edit — that change turned the page अमृत-बिन्दूपनिषत् from a non-article into an article, and therefore increased the article count).

The upshot is this: if you add regular wikilinks to the pages listed at Special:DeadendPages (= विशेषः:निराग्रपृष्टानि), the article count will increase. (Of course, only the most relevant terms should be linked in an article, and each term only needs to be linked once in any particular article.) - dcljr (चर्चा) १३:०८, १८ जून २०१६ (UTC)
