Reference

I don't think you understand what a reference is. See en:WP:REFERENCE for details. For example, if I write "Slumdog Millionaire won 9 Academy Awards", I need to put a reference to a reliable source which confirms the fact. Editing in AWB is faster by a bot as you not have to click on Save always. A user cannot make a lot edits in one minute by AWB thats why making a Bot account is recommended for that. VibhijainBot १४:०५, २३ मेय् २०११ (UTC)

I am just seeing what else it can do, it can also place welcome messages on talk pages but its already done on sa wiki. I am looking to use this bot on Bhojpuri and Kashmiri wikis where there are many tasks to do? Judging by the lack of response on the Village Pump, I'd say that people are not yet too familiar with IRC. First of all, it is an English Wikipedia Policy. Their policies can be used only as a guide, but not as a policy. Second, even if you are going to follow that, read this relevant section. Wikisource

I just noticed that the activity on Wikisource has increased after the installation of the transiliration tool. I would like to have sysop rights there to update the interface which is not possible on beta wiki (like this one) and would like to add some gadgets there. There are also some pages for deletion. I am still not sure that would I will be able to get sufficient comments on wikisource, so I think that the village pump here would be fine. That is probably some steward stuff. Obviously you need a reason to protect pages, whatever space they may be in. Wikipedia is a Wiki, and only such pages which are important should be protected. Otherwise, all userpages would have been protected by default. Rao7 •^Talk १३:२०, ४ जूलय् २०११ (UTC)

Protection is not done in advance. If there is heavy vandalism, then there is some reason at least to protect it. My user and talk page in English have been vandalised some 30 times, and it was protected just twice, that too temporarily. English Redirects

Can you help in translating the Articlle on Swami Rambhadaracharya into Kannada. I have translated into Hindi (see here) and Sanskrit (see here) - and it is a featured article currently on both Hindi and Sanskrit Wikipedias.
