It is totally incorrect to claim Shivaji was secular on basis of his treatment of other religions. He was Hindu from heart and soul and fought bravely for a real Hindu State. And his state was totally based upon Hindu view, and hence it tolerated all religions. But he do encouraged Hindu Dharma and converts dramatically fell. Bhosle Royal Family was also famous for there patronizing for Sanskrit. Shivaji was a true Hindu hero who formed a state based upon Vedic values. Claiming him as a secular would be incorrect and against his sacrifices he made for Dharma. --हर्षवर्धनः (Leodescal) १६:३०, १५ जून् २०१२ (UTC)उत्तर दें[उत्तर दें]
