उर्वारुकस्य कश्चन प्रभेदः

पूर्णं, कर्तितं च उर्वारुकम्

एतत् उर्वारुकम् अपि भारते वर्धमानः कश्चन शाकविशेषः । इदम् अपि सस्यजन्यः आहारपादार्थः । एतत् उर्वारुकं द्विविधं भवति । आङ्ग्लभाषायाम् एकविधं Gourd इति, अपरविधं Cucumber इति उच्यते । एतत् उर्वारुकं भारते तु शाकत्वेन सर्वत्र उपयुज्यते एव । एतेन सूपः, क्वथितं, व्यञ्जनं, तेमनं, अवलेहः, दोसा, कोषम्बरी, दाधिकम् इत्यादिकं निर्मीयते ।
